Role Overview

Auckland School is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice
to join the team, based at Fire Fit in Toxteth, Liverpool.

The successful apprentice will work alongside experienced teachers and support the delivery of engaging, inclusive learning activities for senior classes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and would like to develop a career in education.

You will gain practical experience within the classroom while working towards your Level 3
Teaching Assistant apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers with the planning and delivery of learning activities.
Provide support to pupils during lessons and help them to engage with their learning.
Work with individual pupils or small groups who may require additional support.
Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage pupils to participate and develop confidence in their learning.
Assist with classroom preparation, resources and activities.
Support pupils with their social, emotional and educational development.
Help maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines.
Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and other members of staff.
Observe and support pupils progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Follow school policies and procedures, particularly around safeguarding, behaviour
and health and safety.
Take part in training, development activities and apprenticeship learning.
