Construction Resources is a specialist recruitment agency working across the UK construction industry, supplying both temporary and permanent candidates to a wide range of construction businesses.
We are looking for an Apprentice Business Administrator / Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and develop their skills across recruitment, administration, candidate management, data and social media.
This is a hands-on role where you will become an important part of the day-to-day running of our temporary recruitment desk. You will work closely with our recruiters, candidates and clients while gaining valuable experience in a busy recruitment environment.
As an Apprentice Business Administrator / Recruitment Resourcer, no two days will be exactly the same.
You will support our recruitment team with sourcing candidates for temporary construction roles, speaking to candidates about available work and helping to ensure our temporary workforce is well
looked after.
You will receive training throughout the role and gradually take on more responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develops.
● Searching for candidates to fill temporary construction vacancies
● Using job boards and online platforms to identify suitable candidates
● Calling candidates to discuss available jobs and establish their suitability and availability
● Speaking to candidates about their experience, tickets, qualifications and previous work
● Updating candidate records and maintaining accurate information
● Helping to manage our temporary workforce on a day-to-day basis
● Communicating with temporary candidates regarding shifts, start dates and availability
● Managing online and paper timesheets
● Checking timesheets are completed accurately and following up where information is
missing
● Carrying out candidate aftercare calls every Monday and Friday
● Checking in with temporary candidates to make sure everything is going well on site
● Keeping candidate availability and contact information up to date
● Working with spreadsheets and managing recruitment data
● Inputting and checking data accurately
● Reformatting CVs
● Supporting our recruiters with general recruitment administration
● Helping to write and post job adverts
● Supporting Construction Resources with social media posts and recruitment content
● Helping to keep our social media channels active and engaging
● General office and administration duties
● Building strong relationships with candidates and providing excellent candidate care
