A huge congratulations to James Bibby, who has achieved an outstanding Triple Distinction in his Level 3 Community Support and Health Officer Apprenticeship. This exceptional achievement reflects his dedication, passion, and commitment throughout his apprenticeship journey.
James joined the LFC Foundation’s Sport and Physical Activity department as a Community Sports Apprentice, working across the Football Development and Sport & Inclusion teams. From the outset, he brought enthusiasm, drive, and ambition, with a genuine desire to support and develop young people through the club he has supported throughout his life.
Since beginning his apprenticeship, James has embraced every opportunity to develop his skills, confidence, communication, and knowledge. He has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, leading and assisting sessions both independently and alongside experienced members of staff. His commitment to personal and professional growth has been evident throughout, consistently seeking advice, sharing ideas with colleagues, and creating his own coach development plan to reflect on his progress and identify areas for continuous improvement.
James Bibby said:
“The time I’ve spent with the Foundation and my team has helped me develop both as a person and as a coach by learning new skills and putting them into practice. I’ve had a really positive experience, being made to feel welcome, building strong relationships, and learning from those around me. I’m looking forward to continuing my learning and taking my development even further as I progress in my career.”
Throughout his apprenticeship, James has worked with a diverse range of participants, helping him build confidence and adaptability across different environments. From supporting four-year-olds in the Pre-Player Development Programme to engaging adults through Refugee and Asylum Seeker sessions, he has developed a strong understanding of how to communicate effectively with different groups and individuals.
His ability to adapt his delivery style to support different learning needs has been a particular strength. James consistently ensures participants feel safe, included, and valued, while leading by example and serving as a positive role model. His willingness to step outside of his comfort zone and embrace new challenges has played a significant role in his development.
James is passionate about making a positive impact on the individuals and communities he works with, striving to leave a lasting impression on those who attend LFC Foundation programmes. His dedication to learning, combined with valuable experience gained across a variety of delivery environments, contributed to his exceptional End-Point Assessment result and well-deserved Triple Distinction grade.
