The Role

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Level 2 Sports Coach Apprentice to join our team on a casual basis. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone passionate about sport and coaching who wants to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Level 2 qualification.

You will have the opportunity to work across a range of settings, including:

  • School PE lessons and curriculum support
  • Breakfast, lunchtime, and after-school clubs
  • Evening and weekend sports clubs
  • Half-term and holiday activity camps

 

You will support the delivery of engaging, inclusive, and high-quality sports sessions that encourage participation, skill development, and confidence in young people.

You will work at various locations across Glossop/High Peak and  Stockport

  • Willingness to work towards (or currently hold) a Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching
  • Current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Safeguarding qualification in sport (or willingness to complete training)

Desirable:

  • Level 1 qualification in a recognised sport
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport
