We work closely with clients to help them meet procurement requirements, strengthen tender submissions and improve environmental and social performance.

The successful apprentice will gain exposure to multiple industries and a broad
range of sustainability and compliance challenges.

Job Overview

This apprenticeship offers practical experience within a sustainability consultancy
environment.

The role will focus primarily on supporting clients with sustainability and
compliance elements of tender submissions, alongside contributing to carbon
reduction planning and certification management. The apprentice will work remotely for the majority of the time, with hybrid working required at our London office for collaboration, training and client engagement.

Occasional attendance at client meetings may also be required.
This role is suited to someone with a strong interest in environmental sustainability
who is keen to understand how responsible business practices operate within commercial and procurement environments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support clients in preparing high-quality sustainability and compliance content
    for tender submissions
  • Gather, organise and analyse environmental, carbon and compliance data to
    strengthen bid responses
  • Produce clear graphs, tables and visual data summaries for inclusion in tenders and supporting documentation
  • Assist in drafting written responses relating to carbon reduction, net zero
    commitments, ESG performance and responsible business practices
  • Support the preparation and updating of Carbon Reduction Plans for use in competitive bids
  • Review and maintain information on certification platforms including CHAS and Constructionline to ensure accuracy and readiness for tender submission
  • Monitor accreditation status and ensure compliance documentation meets client and procurement requirements
  • Maintain structured records and data libraries to support efficient bid preparation
  • Conduct research into environmental legislation, industry standards and
    procurement requirements
  • Provide project and administrative support across sustainability and
    compliance consultancy work

  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally

 

Desirable:

  • Undergrad / A-levels or equivalent, ideally in environmental science,
    geography, business or a related subject
  • Basic understanding of carbon reduction, ESG or compliance frameworks
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and presenting data clearly

Working Pattern

  • Primarily remote working
  • Hybrid attendance required at the London office (SW1X 7JF)
