Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to train while you work, gaining hands-on experience in a rewarding educational environment.

As an apprentice, you’ll support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences, help foster a safe and stimulating classroom, and play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of high-impact learning to individuals and small groups under the guidance of the teacher.
Support planning and adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Promote and model positive learning behaviours and contribute to effective classroom management.
Implement safeguarding procedures and maintain safe practices in line with school and national policies.
Collaborate with teachers and education professionals to ensure inclusive and effective learning.
Help create and maintain a supportive, stimulating learning environment.
Understand and adhere to organisational and legislative frameworks, including safeguarding and health & safety.
Take part in safeguarding sessions and understanding throughout the whole school policy.
Involvement of breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs.
Stay up to date with school health & safety policies accordingly.
