Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to train while you work, gaining hands-on experience in a rewarding educational environment.

As an apprentice, you’ll support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences, help foster a safe and stimulating classroom, and play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of high-impact learning to individuals and small groups under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Support planning and adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Promote and model positive learning behaviours and contribute to effective classroom management.
  • Implement safeguarding procedures and maintain safe practices in line with school and national policies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and education professionals to ensure inclusive and effective learning.
  • Help create and maintain a supportive, stimulating learning environment.
  • Understand and adhere to organisational and legislative frameworks, including safeguarding and health & safety.
  • Take part in safeguarding sessions and understanding throughout the whole school policy.
  • Involvement of breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs.
  • Stay up to date with school health & safety policies accordingly.
