KOMI Studios produce the most entertaining and engaging content on social media.
From helping creators fulfil their dreams to creating content for our own brands, KOMI Studios’ content resonates with millions of people, engaging digital audiences around the world across Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram. Powered by KOMI Insights, our output is shaped by the learnings from the billions of monthly interactions we see across our digital media portfolio – resulting in 320 million original content views in December 2024 alone, serving digital audiences through our creator clients and owned brands.
KOMI has recently been shortlisted for Greater Manchester’s Good Employment Awards 2025, following the company’s hard work and commitment to our growing culture and benefits, promoting a positive wellbeing, giving support to employees when they need it, and fostering a strong, positive and united workforce that prioritises the people and the company’s values at its core. KOMI is thrilled about the prospect of nurturing the next generation in the industry, and are especially proud to be partnering with Access Industry to enable fresh talent to launch their careers through real-world experience.
We have a fantastic opportunity to bring in 2 x Assistant Content Producers to help play a pivotal role within our team of producers and editors to bring original content ideas to life. We are looking for hungry, fresh talent who love social media and think they have what it takes to give our audiences what they want. The only experience we are asking for is your knowledge and appetite for social media and a thirst to learn. If you are looking for a role that you can start from the beginning and grow and develop in, with full mentorship and nurturing along the way by our wonderful team of original content experts – this is the role for you.
By the end of the programme, you will have been fully immersed into the whole 360 experience at KOMI Studios and will have learnt every skill it takes to become either a content producer or a video editor. We are in it for the long haul and want to foster the next talent who could become a permanent fixture in our team, so if you are invested in us, we are invested in you.
You will learn all the skills to be a member of KOMI Studios, learning about how to create strong creative ideas and storytelling, you will be taught how to self shoot the content yourself, using iPhones as well as get hands on experience with more technical camera set up, including exposure to using lighting and audio for studio shoots, street interviews and on location.
You will shadow our team in how they prepare ahead of shoots with talent and actors, how they direct talent/creators on the day to capture the content we need and get the best performance possible.
You will be immersed in all areas of pre production including scheduling, logistics, location and talent scouting, negotiating costs, budgeting, prop sourcing and creating call sheets for all attendees and crew for shoots, and ensuring all detail and preparation is complete ahead of shoot day.
You’ll also be immersed in the world of content management and post production, seeing first hand how our editors then work with the content shot to bring it to life, giving you valuable experience in how the editors ensure they’re hitting the platform brief and requirements, paying attention to guidelines, packaging and video length.
