They work across every part of Knowsley, bringing our free and inclusive sports model to schools, leisure centres, parks, and community hubs. From Halewood to Kirkby, Stockbridge to Huyton, we’re active where it matters — on the ground with the young people who need it most.

Apollo work alongside some of the biggest names in sport, including:

  • Steven Gerrard Academy
  • NFL Jacksonville Jaguars UK
  • England Athletics
  • Golf Foundation
  • LTA Tennis coaches

These partnerships give their team and participants exclusive access to elite-level support, training pathways, and national opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, and edit high-quality video and photo content across Apollo’s sports, education, and community programmes
  • Manage and grow Apollo’s presence on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring content is engaging, consistent, and on-brand
  • Lead the creation and launch of ‘Apollo TV’, our new youth-focused YouTube channel, including episode planning, filming, editing, and publishing
  • Conduct interviews and podcasts with young people, staff, and special guests, giving a voice to real stories from within the community
  • Attend Apollo’s events, holiday camps, and sports trips across the UK and abroad, gaining hands-on experience, capturing key moments, and being part of unforgettable adventures
  • Capture day-to-day highlights through photography and video across sessions in schools, leisure centres, and community hubs
  • Create and schedule social media posts and reels that reflect Apollo’s energy and mission, using trending formats and music
  • Design basic graphics (e.g., thumbnails, posters, quote cards) using tools like Canva or Adobe
  • Stay on top of content trends in youth sport, podcasting, and social platforms, bringing fresh ideas to the table
  • Organise and maintain a growing content library, ensuring all footage is correctly labelled and archived
  • Work closely with coaches, staff, and young people to ensure they feel confident and represented on camera
