They are seeking a passionate and driven Apprentice Marketing Administrator to support our marketing efforts and strengthen engagement with both clients and candidates across all our brands.

Role Overview

As an Apprentice Marketing Administrator, you will work closely with our external marketing agency and play a key role in executing our marketing strategy, as developed by them.

Your primary focus will be on social media – creating content, posting, and actively engaging with our audiences to drive brand awareness and business growth – but will also be responsible for creating content for our website, creating and sending out newsletters and working on special campaigns as/when needed.

This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in digital marketing and a solid
understanding of social media platforms, who is looking to gain hands-on experience and build a career in marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with our external marketing agency to implement the approved marketing strategy.
  • Manage the day-to-day social media activity across the group.
  • Create, schedule, and post engaging content across key social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media activity and engage with followers to increase reach and interaction.
  • Work alongside internal teams to gather content ideas and success stories from training, recruitment, and contract services.
  • Support brand consistency and tone of voice across all channels.
  • Assist with basic reporting on social media performance (e.g., engagement, reach, follower growth).
  • Help manage and grow our online presence by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new content ideas to keep our digital presence fresh and relevant.
  • Responsible for company-branded items, such as business cards, wall planners, notebooks, cups and pens, etc. updating design as necessary and maintaining appropriate stocking levels.

    Competent user of platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Creative mindset with a good eye for design and storytelling.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands and audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Previous use of tools like Adobe, Canva, Social Media Platforms (advantageous).

What You’ll Gain

Benefits & Probation

  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Birthdays off (Or nearest Friday or Monday if it falls on a weekend)
  • Can roll over up to 3 days holiday to be used within the first quarter of the following year.
  • Christmas Shut down (length varies depending on the way the bank holidays fall)
  • After five years, one day extra holiday (coming into effect the start of the sixth year, capping at 30 days holiday)
  • Annual awards day

 
After completion of 6 month probation:

  • Healthshield (can claim some costs back for opticians, dentist, access to a 24/7 GP via phone/online, various other costs covered too such as physio, massages etc.) as well as access to discounts on cinema tickets, travel, high street stores etc.
  • Flexitime for those working full time 40 hours per week
  • Cycle to work scheme
