Job Overview

To support the delivery of community-based sport, health, and wellbeing activities for people of all ages in Sefton/Southport. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build skills, confidence and work experience through a supportive role at Southport FC Community Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering activities for children, young people, and adults (e.g., football, multi-sports, walking football, education workshops).
  • Help set up, pack down, and manage equipment at sessions and events.
  • Support lead staff in engaging with participants and creating a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Attend training, staff meetings and community events as part of your development.
  • Promote positive values including teamwork, inclusion and respect.
  • Represent the Foundation in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Complete basic records such as session registers and feedback forms.
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety guidelines at all times.
