At Merton Bank Primary School, we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated apprentice to join our Early Years and Key Stage 1 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while gaining valuable qualifications and hands-on experience in a supportive and nurturing school environment.
Merton Bank is a warm, welcoming and inclusive school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of our strong family feel, our ambitious vision for every child, and the positive relationships that underpin our school community. Visitors regularly comment on the calm, caring atmosphere throughout the school and the dedication of our staff team.
Our Early Years provision is a particular strength of the school. It has been described by external visitors as a “jewel” and a “magical” place to learn, where curiosity, creativity and a love of learning flourish. Through our child-centred approach, inspiring learning environments and strong focus on personal development, we help children develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
As an apprentice, you will become part of a highly supportive team who are committed to developing future educators. You will work alongside experienced practitioners, receive ongoing coaching and mentoring, and gain valuable experience supporting children both academically and socially. No two days are the same, and every day offers the opportunity to make a real difference to a child’s life.
