About the Role

We are seeking an Administrative Apprentice to join our Litigation Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual wishing to commence a career within the legal profession. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to Solicitors and assist in the efficient operation of the department, whilst undertaking structured training as part of an apprenticeship programme.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to solicitors and other fee earners within the Litigation Department
  • Opening, organising, and maintaining client files in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including post, emails, and telephone enquiries
  • Liaising in a professional manner with clients, courts, counsel, and other third parties
  • Scanning, copying, and filing documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assisting with general office and administrative duties to support the effective running of the department
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring case management systems are kept up to date
  • Undertaking such other duties as may reasonably be required

  • Good standard of written and verbal communication
  • Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A professional and courteous manner

Qualifications

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics
