About the Role

Festive Lights is looking for a confident, creative Content Creator to become the face of our brand and help shape the next chapter of our social presence.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our marketing team in a highly visible role, creating engaging content that inspires, educates and drives growth across Tik Tok and our other social channels. From concept to camera to final edit, you’ll bring our products to life building atmosphere, demonstrating expertise and connecting with our audience in a way that feels authentic, authoritative and forward-thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging, high-quality short-form video content for Tik Tok and other social channels from concept through to filming and editing.
Confidently present on camera to produce Tik Tok content and host lives alongside the team, helping to bring the Festive Lights brand to life.
Confident in suggesting and developing creative ideas that drive engagement, reach and community growth.
Assist in planning and preparing content for seasonal campaigns, product launches and key promotional moments.
Capture lo-fi and behind-the-scenes content to support day-to-day social activity.
Edit content using mobile-first tools such as CapCut and Canva to deliver timely, trend-led assets.
Support with the creation of our Tik Tok affiliate community and assist management with responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor content performance and share insights with the wider team to inform future content decisions.
Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team, including photography and styling, to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
Provide cover for scheduling, posting and community management across socials.
Any other additional ad hoc duties outlined by your line manager

Skills & Experience

Natural flair or experience in a work/volunteer capacity in a content creation.
Short-form video skills, including filming and editing for Reels, TikTok and YouTube
Shorts.
Confident and natural on camera, with the ability to communicate clearly and
enthusiastically.
Comfortable capturing content independently using a mobile-first approach.
A creative eye with an understanding of composition, lighting and storytelling.
Good understanding of social media platforms and current content trends.
Basic knowledge of performance metrics and a willingness to learn how to use insights to improve content.
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple content tasks in a fast-paced
environment.
Positive, collaborative attitude and aligned with the Festive Lights brand voice and values.
