Job Overview

This role offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to support content creation, digital marketing, and the delivery of social value initiatives within a dynamic construction environment. You’ll play a key part in how we tell our story — both to clients and the communities we serve — while gaining real-world experience across marketing, stakeholder engagement, and ESG communications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and create engaging content on-site, including photography and short-form video for social media, internal comms, and external campaigns.
  • Write blog posts, case studies, and press releases showcasing projects, partnerships, and community impact.
  • Help grow social media channels, ensuring timely updates, engaging content, and alignment with brand voice.
  • Update and maintain the company website, ensuring new projects, case studies, and CSR updates are posted regularly.
  • Support Head of Marketing and Communications in planning content calendars tied to events, campaign themes, and strategic priorities.
  • Assist in the planning and promotion of events, including volunteering days, careers fairs, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Create branded visuals and reports using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Edit and publish video content for use on digital platforms.
  • Support delivery and reporting of social value commitments

  • Strong written communication skills — confident writing case studies, web content, and social captions.
  • A creative approach to video and photography, with experience capturing and editing short-form content.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across teams and engaging with site staff, community partners, and clients.
  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Full UK driving licence — essential, due to travel to construction sites.
