About the Role

Southport Football Club is looking for a creative and motivated Content Creator Apprentice to join our media team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about football, digital media, and storytelling to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sporting environment.

Working closely alongside our current Social Media Manager, Rory, you will play a key role in producing engaging content that connects with supporters and enhances the club’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating and publishing engaging content across the club’s digital platforms
Film and edit video content, including matchday highlights
Support the production and editing of matchday programmes
Capture behind-the-scenes footage and contribute creative content ideas
Work collaboratively with Rory on content planning and delivery
Help maintain consistent branding and tone across all media outputs

What We’re Looking For

Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
Confident using a camera and filming equipment
Experience with video editing platforms (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
Strong eye for detail and storytelling
Good communication and teamwork skills
Passion for football and digital media

Working Hours & Flexibility

30 hours per week
Flexibility is essential, as the role includes evening work for midweek fixtures
Matchday availability (including weekends) will be required
